Warranty

Within 14 days

Please contact us to start the return process. Your item must be sent back within 14 days of delivery.
A small number of orders may have faults despite our rigorous testing. We will provide a pre-paid label to return the item to us. If you wish to use your own courier, you can at your own cost but we cannot be responsible for it being lost or damaged in transit.

You must make the fault clear when contacting us as this is what your return will be assessed against. We welcome the use of photography or video to illustrate faults.

The item must be in its original packaging with no signs of damage or tampering with the exception of the agreed fault. Our controllers are sent with a warranty sticker and this must remain in-tact.

If you wish to send your controller for repair, sending your controller in its original packaging is not necessary though please ensure it is securely wrapped to avoid damage in transit.

If any returned items are shown to have signs of damage or tampering caused by the customer, the return will be refused and there will be a charge of £10 for us to return the item to you plus any delivery costs as currently calculated at checkout. This also applies where the fault has not existed in an attempt to return the item free of postage, where double the amount of postage will be charged to cover both the fraudulent attempt and return postage.

Damage and tampering include but is not limited to:- the controller be opened in any way, screws being removed, dirt or foreign materials clogging or breaking buttons, water damage, accidental or intentional damage through dropping the controller or unreasonable force.

Past 14 days

In addition to the 14 day return window, we offer a 180 day warranty for all custom controllers. If your controller develops a fault within 180 days of your purchase date that is not the result of an accident or tampering or excessive use or damage by customer we will fix or replace your controller. Warranty only covers internal parts, not custom shells, buttons or thumbsticks that have been tarnished via use.

TY Gaming Modz will fix your controller where possible. In the event the controller can not be fixed, a replacement will be offered. If a replacement can not be offered due to a part being discontinued or unavailable, we will offer a comparable alternative. No refunds will be given under standard warranty. Shells, casings or graphics are not included in warranty though we may be able to swap these (if in stock) for a fee.

To claim on your warranty, please use the contact us form. You will need proof of purchase (i.e. our confirmation email).
When sending your product back to us, we highly recommend using a tracked and fully insured service. We cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged in transit. Postage costs are non-refundable.

You MUST include a note inside detailing the fault or repair required. Additionally we require your name, phone number and return address.

As we will be returning your original controller after repair, it is not necessary to send us the controller in its original packaging but you may do so if you wish. We do however recommend wrapping the controller securely to ensure it is not damaged in transit.

Extended Warranty Agreement

1. Overview

This Extended Warranty ("Extended Warranty") is provided in addition to the standard 180-day Limited Warranty ("Original Warranty") offered with your product. By purchasing this Extended Warranty, you are entitled to additional coverage beyond the standard warranty period.

2. Duration of Coverage

This Extended Warranty extends the original warranty coverage by an additional 1 year (for a total of 18 months including original warranty). This extended warranty can only be purchased at the same time as the controller. The only exception you can add this afterwards is if we have not dispatched your controller yet. Please contact us if required.

3. Coverage

During the extended warranty period, TY Gaming Modz will, at its sole discretion, always endeavour to repair first. If the controller cannot be repaired we will offer to replace the controller subject to the terms and conditions herein.

The Extended Warranty covers:

• We must be able to replicate the reported issue. If issue is hard to replicate we might need to keep the controller for longer for us to inspect.
• Breakdown in materials or workmanship under normal use.
• Stick drift (Not caused by debris falling inside the sticks, eg. pet hair, food)

• Malfunctions not caused by external damage or misuse.

4. Exclusions

This Extended Warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, fire, flood, or acts of nature.

• Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents).

• Consumables and accessories (e.g., batteries, cables) unless explicitly stated.

• Repairs or replacements performed by anyone except us
  

5. Claim Process

To make a claim under this Extended Warranty:

• Contact our Customer Service Team via our contact page.

• You might need to provide proof of purchase.

• Once accepted you require to ship the controller to the states address. Shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated. Return shipping after repair will be covered by us.

6. Replacement Policy

If the product cannot be repaired, TY Gaming Modz may replace it with:

• The same model, or

• A product of equal or greater value if the original model is unavailable.

Replaced or repaired items continue to be covered for the remainder of the Extended Warranty period or 60 days from the date of return, whichever is longer.
